Landscape & Cultural Photo Tour by Professional Travel Photographer Aman Chotani in Ladakh
The tour will be guided by Aman chotani with his local guide, who have full knowledge of the local terrain and sites that provide overwhelming experiences.

Day 1 - Arrival At Leh
Arrive at Leh Airport Leh situated at 3500m altitude, transfer to your hotel.
Rest till lunchtime as you need time to acclimatize and we will have lunch at Leh main market.
We start with the basics of photography post-lunch and leave for the sunset shoot at Leh Palace, overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
Night Workshop – Basics of Travel Photography & Discussion of old work
(On the first day of the tour we will settle and acclimatize ourselves in the wide expances of this beautiful place. You will be free to spend half the day shopping local items for your dear ones and it is post lunch that we will venture out to explore the cultural vastness of Ladakh.)
Day 2 - Explore Stok Village

Evening Travel Photography Session & Image Critique Sessions
(The second day of this tour will have us travel to one of the most breathtaking villages that the Indian subcontinent has to offer. The day will be spent breathing in the vastness of nature and capturing it in photographs. We will be getting a chance to accustom ourselves to the beautiful ways of village life in Ladakh and live it for an entire day.)
Day 3 - Khardungla Pass
After breakfast at Hotel, you will proceed to Nubra Valley by Crossing Khardung-la Pass.
Evening Travel Photography Session & Image Critique Sessions
(Venturing through the difficult terrains of this land, the third day of the tour will be spent in paying a visit to the Highest Altitude of India-Khardungla Pass. After experiencing the icy lands, we will straight move on to its exact opposite—Nubra Valley for the desert and sand-laced plain that it is. A haven for photographers, Nubra Valley will be one hell of an experience.)
Day 4 - Turtuk
In the morning we will leave for Turtuk Village, the last village on India and Pakistan border.
We will spend the whole day there, meet local people and have lunch with them.
Take portraits, capture stories in the village, and come back to Nubra valley in the evening.
(Turtuk, the last village on the borders of India, speaks volumes of the people that inhabit this space. The day will be spent travelling to the border and listening to tales of Kargil along with breathing in the history that this place has. This day will solely be dedicated to capturing stories.)
Day 5 - NUBRA VALLEY – LEH
In the morning visit / explore Deskit, Hundar, and the Sand Dunes, Later drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening free for leisure. Overnight in Hotel at Leh.

(The fifth day of the tour will be mostly a rest day because of the travelling and photographing we’ve done in the previous days.)
Day 6 - Leh – Changla Pass – Pangong lake
After breakfast at Hotel, you will be proceed to Pangong Lake by Crossing Chang-la pass.
Overnight stay in Fixed camp at Pangong Lake.
Astro Photography Shoot near Pangong lake.
Evening Visual Literacy Session & Image Critique Sessions.
(Day six is the most awaited day for anybody who hopes to visit Ladakh. Witnessing, living and photographing the most beautiful lakes of India, the day will be spent in knowing the different techniques of photography as well as star-gazing & capturing the Milky Way that is visible from the Pangong Lake with the naked eye.)
Day 7 - Pangong Lake – Leh
After breakfast drive back towards to Leh by crossing Chang-la pass . overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
Evening Travel Baat Cheet Session & Image Critique Sessions.
(The last day of the trip will be all the participants chilling by the Lake and then returning to the hotel in the evening.)

Cancellation
For cancellations received up to 30 calendar days before the scheduled departure, a 20% cancellation fee will be charged.
For cancellations received 15 -29 calendar days before the scheduled departure date a 60% cancellation fee will be charged.
For cancellations received 7 -14 calendar days before the scheduled departure date a 80% cancellation fee will be charged.
For cancellations received within 7 calendar days before the scheduled departure date a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

a) It's not necessary to have a professional camera for our photo tour. I majorly focus on storytelling. Phone cameras also work.
b) Anyone can join, we always have girls travelling with us too. We take utmost care about their safety and comfort.
c) We will be travelling in a comfortable 10 seater bus. Travelling together gives you a one on one experience and opportunity to bond with the other participants. Always fun to share jokes, stories, and experiences while travelling.
d) We always try to make our tours cost effective so everyone can join in. We have better local connections, the properties, conveyance for lodging are owned by us.
e) We have more than 7 years of experience in organising tours across Ladakh. From Hotels in Leh to Tents in Pangong or Nubra, we have the best places and experiences to offer.

About the Mentor - Aman Chotani
Aman Chotani , a professional freelance travel photographer works for travel agencies, travel magazines like ET Travel, outlook traveler, travel biz, India today, tlf magazine etc. His experiences include capturing stunning images of inspiring destinations include India, Nepal, South Africa, Singapore, Switzerland,France, Spain, Dubai, Turkey, Israel, Australia, and the UK.
